Salta’s Cathedral (also known as Basilica of Salta), is located opposite to the Plaza 9 de Julio (square). This building was built in the sixteenth century and contains among others: images, patron saints of the province of Salta, the Lord and the Virgin of Miracles.

The Cathedral Museum is located on the Belgrano Avenue and works in the same building of the cathedral

The entrance to the cathedral is free, and to enter the museum you’ll have to pay only 2 ARS.
