La Boca neighborhood emerged in the first half of 1800 in Buenos Aires, is known by almost all young people because that’s where is located “La Bombonera”, the football stadium of Boca Juniors, one of the largest in Argentina.
However, its main attractions are its picturesque streets in an area next to the “mouth” (boca) of the Riachuelo in the Rio de la Plata river. Once there were there shipyards and other stores to provision ships arriving in the area.
Thus immigrants built their homes in a unique way, with just what they found. When going around this sector you will be delighted with its small streets and colorful houses, which they painted with leftover paint of the harbor.
Ideal for walking, buying handicrafts or having a coffee.
